Any tips for a beginner currency collector?
I’m interested in collecting currency from all countries and periods. I am not looking at it as an investment (yet), but as a hobby and a learning experience.
I recently went to a flea market and had several good finds. I just need general tips, such as what to look for in a bill and what I should be willing to pay, on average. I know to look for bills that are as close to uncirculated, but do you have any other tips for a beginner, or a good site I could reference?

DO YOU WATCH CAPRICA? WHAT DO YOU THINK?
I saw the 2 hour premiere and i still don’t get the concept. The info dosen’t give enough details and i got lost after that train bombing and the virtual club world. I think most syfy shows are too much about "high tech" to really make sense. I only watch sanctuary.
I actually watched the 2 hour premiere a couple times. It encored the first night. What I’m getting is that there are members of the twelve colonies that are starting to question there actually only being one god instead of many. The mass majority believing in several. Anyway Graystone (the head scientist)’s daughter Zoe gets involved with this group. Unbeknownst to her, her friend bombs the train they are on to make a statement. I think as the show progresses we are going to see why the Cylons rebelled and decided to annihilate the human race in BSG. Also I think that they are going to find a way to bring the avatar of Zoe into the "real" world, so we may see less of the virtual club world.
Sanctuary is a Freakin’ Awesome show! I hope more people watch it so that it will be around for awhile! It was renewed for a third season!! I’m really hoping that Ashley is not actually dead.
If you could have any of the five’s supernatural powers which would you pick? It’s a toss up for me btw Magnus’ long life or John’s Teleporting ability.

I watched it and was confused a little bit by the first hour, but knowing something about Battlestar Galactica would be useful, as you would be familiar with Cylons, and how the various planets hate each other, but as far as I can tell it is a show about how a dads madness to try and bring his father back from the dead helps bring about the near total destruction of his own people.
I didn’t watch Sanctuary past epi 1 am and always will be a Star Gate fan, Watched some of Battlestar on DVDs,

Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, The (2005)

Plot: Arthur Dent is a British everyman. If Earth can be restored will Arthur want to ease back into his boring life?

Contrary to what you have been told by other askers, there are six books. The last being written by Eoin Colfer, author of Artemis Fowl, which is an ‘official’ instalment with Jane Belson, Adams’ widow, giving her approval.

There is also a short story called by Adams, "Young Zaphod Plays it Safe", that first appeared in The Utterly Utterly Merry Comic Relief Christmas Book, a special large-print compilation of different stories and pictures that raised money for the new (at the time) Comic Relief charity in the UK. It is included in the book The Salmon of Doubt.
Quite humbly, there is nothing as funny as this book, this collection, this window to the universe, whatever you’d like to call it. There’s a reason for that. As unbelievably all-over-the-place whacky as the book’s plot can be, a reader should expect to finish reading the book with the knowledge that, amazingly, the universe really is just that strange and wonderful.
I happen to love life with a passion and laugh near continually. I’ve never laughed as hard or as often reading than I did while reading this book. Never. Not even close. Imagine the person sitting next to you in a plane, seemingly without provocation, belly-laughs and can’t stop. Then imagine it happening on a regular basis. You might wonder one of two things – when will he shut up and/or what is it that’s making him laugh?
If you are at all curious why people laugh so hard so often and enjoy life so much…read this book. Please. No, really.
It’s not just funny. If you can say ‘just’ and the type of extreme hilarity I mean in the same sentence without blasting the meaning out of the word ‘just.’ It’s life Essential. I happen to love reading philosophy, eastern, christian, anything I can get my hands on. I’m so glad I got my hands on this collection. You finish the book and realize that you know a whole lot more than you thought you did about your world. Fortunately, a great deal of that knowledge consists of knowing you barely know anything at all.
…Please, for yourself and your happiness in life, read this book. If you come away and are anything but overjoyed to be alive…read it again. You must have missed something.

It’s a Trilogy in Six Parts, so there are six books to the series.
No, they aren’t hard to understand at all. They’re lovely, well done and extremely enjoyable.
They’re fabulous books to read. You totally won’t be disappointed by reading them. Douglas Adams, may he rest in peace, was a genius.

If you decide to read Hitch-Hiker’s, I would also recommend reading Don’t Panic: The Official Hitch-Hiker’s Guide To The Galaxy Companion by Neil Gaiman. It gives a history of Hitch-Hiker’s from radio to books to tv series etc.

How does one get into the animation field?
I want to be able to create my own cartoons eventually. I love the unique worlds such as Cowboy Bebop, or Aeon Flux… and I want to know how to get a job like that.
I graduated from art college several years ago. AAC in the bayarea. If you don’t know anyone who’s in animation field, you can try to present your idea and art work to the teachers in art school. Most of teachers in my school are not professional educator but professional artist. Such as most teachers who is teaching animation may from the big film company. Some of them fly from LA to give us class everyweek.
I thought you may start from their if you go some good stuff. But if you really got some great stuff, be careful with who you deal with. We had sign the contract that all our works belong to school when we were. I have known there some teachers keep student’s idea become their own…

Hair turned grey/purple/silver when I dyed it blonde!!?
I used Garnier Nutrisse Extra light ash blonde hair dye. I know I’m an idiot and I shouldn’t have done it at home, but I did and I need your help to fix it. I probably will go to a salon to fix it, hopefully they can help.
My hair is naturaly a very dark ash blonde…really dark. (for blonde) When I was little I was towhead but it just kept getting darker. Well I decided to dye it a really dark red (looked awesome =D) I did that for about 9 months then I got bored with it and wanted to go to a really light blonde color (not quit platnium but really light towhead) So I first wanted to get all the red I could out of it and I used color oops (yes i know…stupid) lolz I didn’t know it was only for RIGHT after you colored it. Anyways it turned a copper color (UGH) I went to a salon and told them what I wanted, they said bleach all over my head wold ruin it so I should just do highlights of bleach to help get the red out. Well that made it a light copper color  I waited all summer then I went to sallys and used quick blue bleach. That worked well, my roots had grown out and now it was stark white where the roots were, the ends were a yellow color (UGH) I used toner (towhead)…turned it grey but faded over a couple weeks. So then on I wanted to let my hair rest. I spoiled my hair with a hole bunch of conditioners and crap. It became healthy again=D But my hair had grown out like an inch and a half and the blonde was now bananna yellow again and some of it still orange in places (im okay with that  So its been four months since I bleach/toned it and I wanted to do my roots and tone down the yellow. I wanted something that wouldn’t completly ruin the condition of my hair so I asked around and they said garnier was the heathiest. So I looked up online what the lightest shade was and it was Extra light ash blonde (white choclate). Okay I died it…..it turned gray were the yellow was…and copper on my roots. I don’t mind the copper I’ll just dye it again with the same dye and then hopefully it will be the right color. My only problem is the grey…I know it’ll fade…but to be honest I don’t want to wait. Is there ANYTHING that will help fade the gray? Anything besides stripping the color or dyeing it a darker blonde (I don’t want it darker) Like anything natrual? You know, food. Thank you for listening, it was really long(sorry).
That dye that I used didn’t dry my hair at all, it actually conditioned it. I’m big on hair treatments and deep conditioners and other crap. My hair is spoiled. lolz but then again it kinda has to be with all the crap it puts up with. Oh and all these things i did to my hair were VERY long in between. I didn’t just go here than there than do this and that. I let my hair take long breaks
yes i know i should go in to get it fixed and i probably will but i just wanted to know if I could do anything to help move the fading process along. just so its not so gray anymore. like anything natrual? but i understand going in would be best.

Go to a beautician, do not pass go, just head on out to a beauty parlor and let a professional fix your hair.

I feel like it’ll fade out naturally over time. I would normally tell you to try bleaching it again, but at this point you’ve just done so much to it. I bet it probably feels like bubblegum when it’s wet, right? That stretchiness when it’s wet is going to make your hair get weaker and weaker and start breaking all over the place, which is just as bad as having it fall out. What you’re gonna need to do is to cut off as much as you are willing to part with, and start conditioning the hell out of it. Don’t shampoo it more than a couple times a week, but still shower and use conditioner in your hair anyway.
